Fako United returns to action this weekend, and make their way to the Molyko Omnisport Stadium where they will clash with Buea United on Sunday.

They will be hunting their first win of the season at the fourth time of asking, hoping that the new month brings better fortunes after some underwhelming performances in the month of March.

They head into the fixture looking for their first win of the season after losing two and drawing one of their first three league games.After losing to 2-1 Option Sports Academy, The Njoku Boys recorded a 1-1 against Prisons of Buea before losing to 1-0 to ISOHSA of Limbe in match day three.They come up against a side that will that will be looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Mount Cameroon FC of Buea last time out after their five star start of the season with a 6-1 win over Treviso FC.

Coach Alexandre Soppo of Fako United will miss the services of energetic left-back Ewang Muabe Ebong currently with the U-17 National team to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations that begins on April 28, 2023 in Algeria. Midfielder Ekoatsio Gaby is also out as he serves the last of his three match ban after getting a straight red card against Options Sports Academy in match day one.

 

For the visitors, it will be an outing without the services of influential midfielder Ngessa Clifford Ngessa, winger Motia Bassey Brandon and Kum Athanasius, who sit out due to injury.

Ekwo Mukete Joseph Junior(Fako United): 

The forward has slotted in the team seamlessly since joining late on from Dragon of Yaoundé and will command plenty of attention from the Buea United back line. He has scored both league goals for Fako United this season. His influence has been crucial for Fako  United in the past three games and his ability to create and finish off chances makes him a constant threat to the opposition.

 

Austin Ajoh (Buea United FC):

Ajoh has been a vital addition to the Buea United squad since his return from Zambia. His keen eye for goals was demonstrated with his 35 seconds opener against Mount Cameroon FC of Buea last time out. The versatile attacker has been utilized up front as an out-and our striker as well as on the wings, making some vital contributions for his side.
